I was to originally entitle this blog "Songs for Gavin" due to my best friend being deployed very far away with the Marine Corps. Although I'm proud of him for achieving success in the military, I miss hanging out and resolved to send him a song from a different band each day. I think I was originally afraid that he was going to forget about his life here, but in the end I guess I just still wanted to feel connected, even slightly, because even with Facebook, he is definitely not someone you would nickname "a talker." However, after doing this for almost 5 months, I started running out of ammo. Thus began my quest for new music. Now, this has turned into a great opportunity for me to really appreciate each and every person I meet, and to put myself out their to interact with more and more people everyday.
